One of the most famous (perhaps, infamous) scenes and plot devices used in this movie is the inclusion of the button eyes on the main antagonists, terrifying younger children and permanently engraving that vision in their head. However, we can credit the major breakthrough of the zombie genre to one George A. Romero, who made the 1968 horror film, "Night of the Living Dead"! This movie brought zombies to the big screen, with a group of survivors holed up in a house with no way out.
